I’m an artist who specializes in painting on wood. My subject matter is mostly animals particularly sea turtles! I also paint people from mermaids to musicians! I use a mixed media of acrylics and wood stain, each piece of wood is primed and stain blocked prior to painting. I then seal the entire piece front and back with a UV resistant non yellowing polycarbonate urethane. I make prints of my work and mount them to wood. With my prints I touch them up so they look just like the original! Some pieces are embellished with glass fragments and glitter that give the piece a really striking look! I make magnets on wood, laminated magnets, ornaments, and buttons from my prints. I take commissions as well such as pet portraits, or whatever you may want!
